Notice Description

ERC seeks to appoint a single contractor to undertake an external wall insulated render system and the re-roofing of properties as part of the EWI programme 2019-20. The estimated works value (excluding fees) is in the region of 750,000 GBP however this may increase or decrease. Should extra money become available then ERC reserves the right to spend up to a further 250,000 GBP. This will be largely dependent on owner occupier uptake and their commitment to the works at their property. The 750,000 GBP is based on the first 85 addresses which will be provided with the tender documents.

Suitably qualified companies to undertake the design and construction of an external wall insulated render system and the re-roofing of properties to East Renfrewshire Council properties, as per the address list provided, in various locations within East Renfrewshire as part of the HEEPS ABS programme 2019-20. The description of works to be carried out by the successful contractor includes re-roofing and re-rendering, of existing Local Authority properties and mixed tenure blocks (typical property types include semi-detached, mid terrace, four-in-a-block properties and tenement properties) in three phases. Phase one and two are planned roof and render works as per the address list 19-20. The successful contractor will provide a managed contract so will not only carry out the work but will also administer the required paperwork which involves Energy Performance Surveys (before and after the works), Building Warrant submissions, structural engineers certificates, pre and post EPCs, design and construction of external wall insulated render systems and the re-roofing of properties to East Renfrewshire Council Properties in various locations within East Renfrewshire Council.. The estimated works value (excluding fees) is in the region of 750,000 GBH however this may increase or decrease. Should extra money become available then ERC reserves the right to spend up to a further 250,000 GBH. This will be largely dependent on owner occupier uptake and their commitment to the works at their property.
