Glasgow City Stress Services
Notice Description
Glasgow HSCP is seeking a high quality forward thinking organisation(s) to deliver community based stress services that will complement the work of the HSCP workforce and partners. This programme of work will provide an important contribution to the adult mental health improvement framework. The service will be open to all Glasgow residents aged 16 and over, with a specific focus on delivery in areas of highest deprivation and to those population groups experiencing significant and enduring health, economic & social inequalities.
Lot Information
Community Based Stress Services Lot 2 North West
The service will operate an open referrals process, whereby eligible individuals can refer themselves into the service, as well as accepting referrals from other services, organisations or individuals. The service should deliver a range of interventions including: Individual 1:1 work. This should also include the ability to respond to ad hoc presentations of individuals in crisis or distress although this is not the focus of the service. Group work, workshops & classes as appropriate To maximise impacts, the service should deliver outcome and solution focused interventions. A key focus of the contract is in developing resilience and capacity to enable individuals to better deal with challenges or adversity in their lives. Interventions should be time limited with ongoing service user reviews built into the structure. All interventions should be evidence based.
Options: Additional funding may become available during the term of the contract. Additional funding is subject to availability and will be reviewed on an annual basis. Option A is to provide flexibility should additional funding become available and can only be secured by the successful supplier.
Renewal: 1 x 12 months
