The provider will: - See 1,000 new outpatients who are likely candidates for extraction - Will provide a full outpatient assessment by a consultant OMFS surgeon - Patients should either be discharged with a full letter back to the GP; referred on to our OMFS department if an OMFS procedure other than extraction is indicated or listed for GA or LA teeth extraction under this provider - Any patients with sinister pathology should be highlighted to the OMFS Clinical team for fastrack review - For planning purposes we suggest 70% of new outpatients will convert to an extraction procedure with an approximate 50/50 split between LA and GA.
