This is a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice to indicate that Highlands and Islands Enterprise has contracted with Kassbohrer Gelandefahrzeug AG for the supply and delivery of the equipment listed in 11.1.4.
Options: Additional equipment may be required which will be decided on a case by case basis - e.g. to replace existing equipment.
Procurement Information
This particular manufacturer has been chosen to ensure compatibility with the existing Kassbhorer equipment. A change in supplier would result in incompatibility or disproportionate technical difficulties in operation and maintenance e.g. in the event of a breakdown CMSL would no longer be able to borrow parts from other vehicles. In addition, some existing equipment is able to be traded in as part of the purchase.
