Notice Description

This is a Contract AWARD Notice and as such the procurement process is complete. HIE requires a competent and professional cleaning contractor to provide a comprehensive cleaning service throughout the premises at The Enterprise Centre, Kilmory Industrial Estate, Lochgilphead, Argyll, PA31 8SH, delivered in a safe, compliant, sustainable and efficient manner. It is expected that these services will be required from April 2020 for an initial period of 3 years, with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 1 calendar year following the Initial Term. The initial 3 year budget currently available to deliver this service is between GBP50,625 and GBP67,500 (excluding VAT).

The scope of services outlines the requirements of HIE and the specific cleaning services to be provided at the site, alongside tasks and frequencies. The full specification is detailed within Appendix 1 and Appendix 2, which in summary includes: - Cleaning of office accommodation, public spaces and meeting rooms - Cleaning of kitchen and canteen facilities - Cleaning of washrooms and toilets - Sanitary provision - Window cleaning (internal and external) and external guttering clearance - L8 (Legionella) control programme (see 'Legionella Compliance Tasks' and 'Enterprise Centre - Water System Schematic' attachments for further information). - Periodic Cleaning. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.

Renewal: The Contract will be awarded for an initial period of 3 years with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 1 calendar year following the Initial Term.
