Point and Sandwick Coastal Community Path The Point and Sandwick Coastal Community Path (PSCCP) vision is for a significant, 40km coastal walk which will begin in Stornoway, passing through Sandwick onto the Braighe and Aignish to follow a circular route around the Point peninsula. The project, run by a volunteer committee is a registered charity formed in 2016 for the purpose of developing a route to showcase the historic, cultural and natural attractions in the area in addition to its stunning views. PSCCP published a feasibility report Ceum air Cheum to produce concept plans and with funding from Point and Sandwick Trust, LEADER and Stornoway Trust, phase one of the wider development was completed in December 2018. In November 2019, PSCCP invites public bids for a consultant to deliver development work for the project.
