These performances will involve both professional and community performers and will explore stories from Paisley's 'Radical' past, in particular the town's role in the Radical War of 1820. To complement the performances, the Paisley Radicals project will also take workshop activity into Renfrewshire schools to specifically raise pupils' awareness and knowledge of the Radical War of 1820. The site-specific performances will be devised through a programme of 46 community- based drama and design workshops and finalised over a 4-week rehearsal period. In order to tender for the project, prospective suppliers will need to be registered on the Public Contract Scotland (PCS) website: http://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/register_v2/Supplier_Register.aspx Once registered, prospective suppliers should email th.cars2@renfrewshire.gov.uk before noon on Friday 22nd November 2019, confirming their interest in tendering and their successful registration on PCS.
