Notice Description

The River Clyde Homes Group (RCHG) are seeking to employ a suitably experienced and competent Law Firm to provide general commercial legal advice on an ad-hoc basis.

Lot Information

Lot 1

The River Clyde Homes Group (RCHG) are seeking to employ a suitably experienced and competent Law Firm to provide general commercial legal advice on an ad-hoc basis. The successful firm will assist our two in-house solicitors on infrastructure and projects, corporate law, commercial contracts, construction law, property law, procurement law, information law, charity law, housing and regeneration, funding advice, governance advice, etc. (the foregoing is illustrative and not exhaustive). For the avoidance of doubt, contentious and non-contentious employment law matters and litigation advice and representation including debt recovery are excluded from the remit of this contract and are being tendered separately. The contract shall enable the River Clyde Homes Group to take informed decisions which seek to minimise legal risk. All solicitors in the proposed delivery team for the contract must hold a current and unrestricted practicing certificate issued by the Law Society of Scotland and comply fully with the regulations, rules, codes of conduct and best practice advice issued by them.. The contract value specified within this contract award notice is the anticipated spend across the lifecycle of the contract. Due to the reactive nature of the services tendered for, it is not possible for RCH to stipulate the exact value which may be generated from this contract.

Renewal: The contract will run for an initial 2-year period. RCH may wish, at its sole discretion, to extend any resultant agreement for a further 2, 12 month periods subject to the agreement of the successful bidder.
