River Clyde Homes are seeking to employ a suitably experienced and competent law firm to assist RCH's staff with advice and representation for recovery of possession in heritable actions and rent arrears cases in Greenock Sheriff Court and also to potentially represent RCH in the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland (Housing and Property Chamber). The advice and representation required also includes general debt recovery work in Greenock Sheriff Court and any other litigation matters as required.

River Clyde Homes are seeking to employ a suitably experienced and competent law firm to assist RCH's staff with advice and representation for recovery of possession in heritable actions and rent arrears cases in Greenock Sheriff Court and also to potentially represent RCH in the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland (Housing and Property Chamber). The advice and representation required also includes general debt recovery work in Greenock Sheriff Court and any other litigation matters as required. The successful bidder will liaise closely and be available to meet regularly with River Clyde Homes' staff involved in debt recovery and tenancy management. Prior to undertaking any court action on behalf of River Clyde Homes, the successful bidder shall discuss anticipated costs and prospects of success with River Clyde Homes staff. The successful bidder will also liaise as required with River Clyde Homes' staff in relation to tenancy management issues, e.g. anti-social behaviour and succession issues, etc. In relation to ad-hoc Debt Recovery, the successful bidder shall provide River Clyde Homes with expert advice to identify the correct solution to suit River Clyde Homes' needs providing guidance regarding the cost effectiveness and the practicalities of any debt recovery action. Firms should note that RCH require a solicitor at partner level to undertake court appearances on behalf of RCH.

Renewal: The contract will run for an initial 2-year period. RCH may wish, at its sole discretion, to extend any resultant agreement for a further 2, 12 month periods subject to the agreement of the successful bidder.
