The form of contract shall be the SBCC Standard Building Contract With Approximate Quantities for use in Scotland, 2016 Edition.

Lot 1

East Renfrewshire Council is looking to appoint a suitable and qualified contractor to undertake electrical rewiring works to various tenanted properties within the East Renfrewshire Council area over a 2 year period. With the council reserving the right to extend up for a further 2 12 month period. The works to be carried out by the successful contractor will include the domestic electrical rewiring. Typically the property type includes semi-detached houses, terraced houses, four in a block properties and tenement properties.

Options: East Renfrewshire Council reserves the right to instruct rewires in any domestic property up to the ceiling value of the contract .

Renewal: East Renfrewshire Council reserves the right to extend this contract at its discretion for a further two periods of twelve months as outlined in the tender documents . East Renfrewshire council would also anticipate that this contract will be renewed upon its expiry.
