The purpose of this programme will be to: improve and share understanding of the influence of tax policy on land ownership and land use; lead and stimulate discussion with stakeholders on potential opportunities and changes to deliver land reform objectives and understand the potential implications; and inform the Land Commission's advice and recommendations to Scottish Ministers.

Lot 1

The purpose of this programme will be to: improve and share understanding of the influence of tax policy on land ownership and land use; lead and stimulate discussion with stakeholders on potential opportunities and changes to deliver land reform objectives and understand the potential implications; and inform the Land Commission's advice and recommendations to Scottish Ministers.. It is intended that the phase one scoping report will be used to guide and inform the Land Commission's work stream on tax over the next two years. The budget for phase two work will be subject to discussion and agreement between the Land Commission and the successful bidder toward the end of the phase one work but a provisional budget of 80,000 GBP over two years has been allocated at this time.
