To provide transition accommodation for care experienced young people moving into adulthood

Lot 1
The overall aim of the Service is to enable and empower young people to make and sustain a successful transition to interdependent living. Service objectives: - Adopt a person centred planning in all aspects of service delivery, to provide comprehensive, flexible and person centred support in accordance with the standards set out the Scottish Government's Getting it Right for Every Child principles and SHANARRI life outcome goals. - To facilitate and support when needed intensive wrap around provision for young people aged 16-25 who are leaving Local Authority Care. - To offer support, guidance and assistance to young people with identified priority needs in line with the East Ayrshire Care Leavers Housing Options Protocol and Practice Guidelines for Supporting Young People Leaving Care. - To work in partnership with the Commissioners to support the delivery of personal plans to meet the needs of those young people who are vulnerable and at risk of becoming homeless or involved in the criminal justice system. - To provide supported accommodation for young people in transition in line with their individual personal plans. - To work directly with East Ayrshire Council's Housing Services nominated Supported Accommodation Officer to achieve independent living for young people including support, advice and information. Please note that this PIN exercise does not guarantee that interested parties would be successful or receive any preferential treatment, should this result in an eventual tender exercise. This is a market testing exercise and therefore will not guarantee that the service will be tendered.
