Notice Description
Live Borders is seeking a Caterer to operate the visitor and events catering service at the Great Tapestry of Scotland. Working with our chosen partner, our ambition is for joint commercial success through high quality standards in food and service. The financial model will be concession based, in terms of which the Caterer will pay an agreed percentage of gross receipts from all catering and associated sales.

Live Borders is seeking a Caterer to operate the visitor and events catering service at the Great Tapestry of Scotland in Galashiels. Working with our chosen partner, our ambition is for joint commercial success through high quality standards in food and service. The key priorities for this Contract are as follows: - The creation of a sustainable food and drink proposition at the visitor centre; - Delivery of consistently high-quality product; - Creation of a food offer that supports a 5-star visit and reflect the aspirations of the Scottish Food Tourism Strategy - see https://www.scotlandfoodanddrink.org/resources/publications/food-tourism-scotland/ - Development of a professional events catering product; and - Revenue development via good usage by visitors and driving spend per head via customer satisfaction The financial model will be concession based and the Contract will be a services concession contract, in terms of which the Caterer will pay an agreed percentage of gross receipts from all catering and associated sales. This tender is being carried out in two stages. This is the first stage where all interested parties must submit a completed pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ). Responses will then be evaluated, and the highest scoring responses will be invited through to the second stage, subject to number and quality of submissions, and they will be invited to submit a tender.
Renewal: Possibility of 2 year renewal/extension by agreement
