The described robot hand is one of the two commercially available products meeting payload, dexterous and anthropomorphic parameters for the intended research. The Shadow hand meets compatibility of mounting onto existing installed UR robot arm, with hardware and software interfaces provided by the supplier. We have already purchased the other commercially available dexterous grippers so that we can compare performance of the two.
