Core objectives of the NDC are to anchor the supply chain in the North East of Scotland long term and retain and attract world class talent to the University of Aberdeen. The NDC requires a fast, finite element analysis (FEA) or reduced basis finite element analysis (RB-FEA) code which can be interfaced with its simulation suite to provide real-time or near real-time stress/strain analysis of structures within the simulation.
