The City of Edinburgh Council is seeking interest from providers and agencies who will collaborate to meet children's additional support needs, promoting integrated working across agencies in assessment, intervention, planning, provision and review. The providers shall be able to provide 2000 days per annum of speech and language therapy across the following: 23 school clusters (A cluster equates to one secondary and associated primary and early years establishments-we anticipate the majority of work will be with primary and early years aged children) and 16 specialist provisions. Please note that one day equates to 6 working hours. Effective language skills are essential for children to access the curriculum. Levels of knowledge and expertise might vary between schools depending on the children's needs and the professionals involved.
