Moray Council intend to award a contract for care and housing support for clients with learning difficulties at Alba Road, Buckie, Moray.
Procurement Information
This agreement was required when the incumbent provider of care and support services for adults with learning difficulties gave 3 months notice of their intention to quit that service. In order to provide continued support for the client base, a number of organisations who had similar existing services within the geographical area were informally approached to establish if there was capacity to take this service on. Only one of the suppliers approached confirmed that they would be interested in providing this service. The priority was to ensure that the support provided to these clients was continuous.
