Notice Description

New Gorbals Housing Association are looking to appoint suitably qualified and experienced suppliers to their Architectural and Related Professional Services Framework. It is intended that the initial framework agreement shall be for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 12 months. During this period New Gorbals Housing Association shall be entitled to call-off services from the framework agreement on a project by project basis. It is estimated that the value of the services to be called-off over the four year period will be circa GBP 2,200,000 to GBP 2,800,000.

This procurement exercise relates to the procurement of a multi supplier Framework Agreement architectural and related consultancy services in various specialist areas. The Authority intends to appoint up to 7 suppliers to the Framework Agreement. The provision of architectural consultancy services associated with the design and construction of new build housing including, but not limited to, the following areas: - Design and documentation services compatible with the RIBA plan of work 2020 - production of architectural drawings, engineering drawings, design drawings - Contract administration services The procurement also requires the provision by the Consultant of engineering consultancy services (sub contracted as necessary) as required to complete the design of new build housing, specifically in the following disciplines: - Structural engineers - Civil engineers The Consultant will also have the capability and capacity to fulfil the roles of contract administrator and principal designer in order to plan, manage, monitor and coordinate the pre-construction phase. This includes managing and mitigating any potential health and safety risks throughout the design process. Further services as mutually agreed between Contracting Authority and Consultant will be required.. The estimated value of this framework is GBP 2,200,000 to GBP 2,800,000
