Queens Cross Housing Association Ltd. (QCHA) is progressing the acquisition and demolition of a former GCC hostel at Burnbank Gardens (Glasgow G20 6HD) and the development of 46 flats for social rent on the site. Planning proposal drawings are attached in the additional documents folder. We require the services of a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer to complement the Design Team. The M&E Engineer will work alongside the Energy Advisor and Architect to ensure that the bulding achieves Section 7 Aspect Gold Level 1 and Aspect Silver Level 2-8 plus 20% LZCGT abatement. The project is at Planning Application stage and will proceed to technical design from May to August 2020. The M&E Engineer will work as part of the Design Team, contributing and responding to design development and value engineering. The service includes attending meetings and site inspections, and validating contractors' certifications. As well as designing the building services the scope of work includes providing information for an options appraisal of the most cost effective and sustainable energy source for the development. The tender submission consists of the Quality Questionnaire and Pricing Schedule attached in the additional documents folder. These should be returned to the electronic postbox before the tender deadline.. See additional documents folder
