The service provider will conform to agreed professional standards, such as those provided by COSCA or BACP, and current best practice for school-based counselling, specifically in respect of counsellors' qualifications, staff supervision policy, child protection policies, and continuous professional development and learning. The successful bidder will require to enter into an information sharing agreement with East Lothian Council. Staff performing the services will require to have the relevant disclosure checks with the PVG scheme."
