Notice Description
The Council require the supply of Citrix Xenapp Licences to provide remote access to Windows apps and data over any network, on any device and enables employees to access Linux virtual desktops side-by-side with Windows resources for a complete workspace experience.

The Council conducted an e-auction for this requirement using Lot 2 of the CCS Framework for Technology Products 2 RM3733 and received no bids. The Council then entered into a negotiated agreement with a supplier in accordance with Public Contract (Scotland) Regulations 2016, Use of the negotiated procedure without prior publication Section 33.--(1) "A contracting authority may award a public contract following negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice or prior information notice in any of the following cases-- (a) where no tenders, no suitable tenders, no requests to participate or no suitable requests to participate have been submitted in response to an open procedure or a restricted procedure, provided that the initial conditions of the contract are not substantially altered and that a report is sent to the Commission where it so requests"
