Supply of fire and composite doors and accessories to locations within West Lothian.
Lot Information
Lot 1
This contract is for a 3 year period with an option to extend for up to a further 24 months. The evaluation weighting is 70% price / 30% quality. Workforce matters and community benefits shall be evaluated using a total weighting of 5% with the remaining 25% quality being evaluated on delivery and contract management. A sole supplier will supply doors and fixtures to meet the demands of the housings door replacement programme where damaged doors are replaced within an agreed timescale. As doors are bespoke and manufactured to measure the council and supplier will agree a mutually acceptable delivery date and where possible raw materials stock holding to speed up the manufacturing of emergency orders. All fire doors must meet with the most recent fire regulations, throghout the life of the contract.
Options: The specifiction contains a number of door types and sizes, this may vary and additional products will be added following benchmarking to ensure best value is achieved at all times and throughout the life of the contract.
Renewal: There is an option to extend for an additional 24 months, subject to the continued needs of the council and the service levels of the awarded supplier
