The Scottish Government (SG), on behalf of the First Minister's National Advisory Council for Women and Girls (NACWG), wishes to commission research to improve understanding of Scotland's gender architecture, with a particular focus on intersectionality. During 2020 the NACWG are exploring the topic of Creating an Intersectional Gender Architecture - the status of women in Scotland, structures and intersectionality. The NACWG will report to the First Minister on their findings and any recommendations in December 2020. The aim of this research is to provide the NACWG with timely, robust information on intersectional gender architecture to help the NACWG with their topic exploration and feed into their wider thinking ahead of their report submission.
