The University of Strathclyde seeks notes of interest from suppliers able to provide an integrable power amplifier and multi-environment chamber for power systems and power electronics research. The offered equipment must have these essential features: >> Minimum of 4 four-quadrant power amplifiers each rated at 50kW (405Vac and 800Vdc), capable of full control (voltage and current) with analogue inputs for interface. >> Environmental chamber (1m3) integrated with vibration table capable of the following characteristics >>> Temperature -70degC to +180degC >>> Humidity 20 to 95%RH >>> Pressure 101.3 to 0.1kPa >>> Vibration MIL-STD-810 with the ability to generate user specific profiles via analogue or digital interface. The environmental chamber should have electrical inputs (external to the chamber) and outputs (inside the chamber) capable of carrying current for 405V 3-ph 200kW and 800Vdc 200kW. The expected weight for the device under test is 150Kgs.
