Lot Information

Lot 1

On behalf of the Create Converge project (CC), Dundee City Council invites proposals for the following. Our website (www.createconverge.eu) has been developed up to 2019 to reflect the brand and project strategy. We have identified that further development is needed on the website to support our web channel aspirations and evolving research as required for our project results and future operation. As such, all of the new requirements could not be implemented during the original website development and we wish those requirements to be delivered as part of this project. Given the impact of Covid-19 this project also plays an important role in offering a platform for collaboration between creative, digital and technology services and with the multiple sectors they support for applications such as entertainment, marketing, service delivery and training. We note that the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 has come into force. The legislation encourages public sector websites to be more accessible by requiring that they comply with WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Existing public sector websites had to meet the regulatory standard by September 2019. In summary we are seeking further work on the website and provision of collaboration and sector mapping tools or applications. Ideally we are seeking rapid deployment of these updates, Create Converge is a transnational, North Sea Region project with partners in Denmark, Germany, Netherlands, Sweden and the UK. It is supported by the European Union North Sea Region VB Programme. As such the project was supported to contribute to development and competitiveness of a key economic and cultural sector across the region and for each of the partner countries and regions.
