Lot 1
South Lanarkshire hosts its Web and Intranet on servers located in the SLC Data Centre. This procurement was to move the hosting of these servers to the "cloud" while also upgrading the Jadu software to the latest supported versions. As there is a requirement for Jadu software the Council sought to procure using the Negotiated Procedure in line with it's internal Standing Orders and Regulation 33.1.

The works, services or supplies can only be supplied by a particular contractor because competition is absent for technical reasons and no alternative or substitute exists and the absence of competition is not the result of an artificial narrowing down of the parameters of the procurement
