To provide design team support to NWMCWC in the refurbishment of the Grade B listed Ulva House on the island of Ulva

This PQQ is asking for architects or other consultants to submit a proposal to confirm their potential interest in providing the following list of services to the project: 1. The team should be led by a Conservation Accredited Architect (CAA) as required by Historic Environment Scotland. If the CAA is part of a wider team this should be made clear in the PQQ return 2. All contractors and sub contractors are required to be enrolled in the appropriate trade or professional registers. 3. A full design scheme for the project reflecting and achieving the client and funders requirements and the wider objectives of the Storas Ulbha project, to include securing all statutory consents and the approval of the project stakeholders and tendering and managing the works on site to completion. The locational challenges of finding and managing contractors needs to be borne in mind throughout the project. 4. The Principal Designer role including managing all Health and Safety requirements 5. An interior designer to work with the interpretation consultants on the internal layout of the heritage centre space and the self-catering space 6. A landscape architect to advise on the setting of the building and its access and gardens 7. Structural and Building Services Engineer input 8. Cost consultant support 9. Fire Engineer input given the public/ private nature of the proposed spaces 10. Sustainability consultant input to advise on the opportunities to minimise the environmental impact on the construction phase and long-term management of the asset.
