Notice Title
PQQ For NHSG GreenSpace Infrastructure Project
Notice Description
NHS Grampian secured grant funding in 2017 for a Greenspace project to enhance the health and wellbeing of staff, visitors, and neighbors to the Foresterhill Health Campus. The precise location lies between the Central Stores complex to the east and the new Foresterhill Health Centre to the west. The project is 60% funded by NHSG Endowments and 40% by EU Grant administered by Scottish Natural Heritage. The project is central to the NHS Grampian strategy set out in the Foresterhill Development Framework which sees the development of green space as an essential component for the future planning of the site. The project is also in keeping with the Practice Note issued jointly by the NHS and the Forestry Commission which is looking to improve health and wellbeing outcomes through the enhanced introduction of green space to the healthcare environment. The Grant originally required the project to be completed and all monies to be spent before the end of 2020 however due to the COVID-19 pandemic this has now been extended to June 2023. NHS Grampian hereby seeks the interest of qualified landscape or open-space construction companies that can help actualise this project. The opportunity is open to both small, medium, and large companies.
