Phase Two of Buccleuch House Works

Notice Description

The Contractor will be appointed to carry out prescribed works for the upgrade of Buccleuch House as outlined in the supplied documents for Phase 2. Phase 1 is currently open for tender on the PCS portal until 30th October 2020, this tender will be awarded 6th November 2020 subject to checks. NDCT is happy to work with one main contractor for both phases or to appoint separate contractors for either phase. This contract is for Phase 2 of a project that will restore and secure reuse of a Grade C building in the heart of Newcastleton. Newcastleton Enterprise & Learning Centre and Bunks@Buccleuch divided into two areas; ground floor comprising a community enterprise and learning centre with spaces for the community inclusion program, sustained by the second part, planned for the top floor a bunkhouse providing accommodation for visitors, in addition, there will be a retail unit located in the garden area in the rear of the property. This project, once completed, will ensure that Buccleuch House is once again a thriving centre used by the community.
