We require a multi-zone heating system for use in a heated platen, metal forming press. The system must be capable of heating our platens to 950C, and respect our thermal gradient limits during heat-up and cool-down. Power required during heat up is estimated at ~126kW. A high-level system design has been prepared covering topics such as thermal sizing, initial key component selection and connection, system behaviour and HMI specification. We require the services of an organisation with demonstrable previous experience designing and manufacturing similar systems to review the high-level design, perform a detailed system design, manufacture the system, install it on our site, perform testing and calibration activities, and provide a system HMI.
