Open Architecture Hybrid Cell - Remake Facility The Contracting Authority seeks notes of interest for a potential procurement exercise relating to the above project. High level contract summary as below: 1. This potential tender is to create an innovate cell with multiple technologies cell. 2. The integrator is expected to build the enclosure and fully integrate the technologies (listed below). 3. The cell should be resource efficient and have measures in place to reduce the carbon emission impact. 4. The integrator is expected to source the technologies based on the specifications and integrate those. 5. The integrator is expected to carry out a SAT and deliver the equipment to the AFRC / NMIS 6. The cell will provide LMD powder and wire technology 7. The cell will provide WAAM technology 8. The cell will provide Cold Spray technology 9. The cell will provide Machining technology 10. Cell is controlled by a computer and a common programming language (i.e. G/M codes) 11. Capable to machine hardened tool steels, Titanium, Aluminium 12. Comply to all H&S regulations for all technologies (i.e. laser save, soundproof, LEV for fumes, etc.) Potential supplier should have experience delivering similar projects.
