The University are seeking notes of interest for a Cold Spray System

Lot 1

The University are seeking notes of interest for a potential tender opportunity. 1. This potential tender is to create a high-performance cold spray system. 2. The integrator is expected to build the enclosure and fully integrate the technology as a turn key solution. 3. The cell should be resource efficient and have measures in place to reduce the carbon emission impact. 4. The integrator is expected to carry out a SAT and deliver the equipment to the AFRC / NMIS 5. Cell is controlled by a computer and a common programming language (i.e. G/M codes) 6. Capable to deposit steels, Titanium and Aluminium 7. Comply to all H&S regulations for all technologies (i.e. soundproof, LEV, etc.) 8. The Machine is capable to additive manufacture components 9. The machine must be capable of heating the process gas to a minimum of 1000C 10. The machine must be capable of processing 2 powders (multiple hoppers) at the same time 11. The machine must be capable of handling high pressures to a minimum of 70 bar 12. The cell and machine must be capable of handling components up to 2x2x2m 13. The Cold Spray system must be located on a robotic system.
