Notice Description
Supply and commissioning a supercritical CO2 system for the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland (NMIS). Supercritical CO2 is a fluid state of CO2 held above its critical temperature and critical pressure. At this point, the CO2 looks like a gas, but has the density of a liquid. The system will initially be in support of the existing DMG Mori 5-axis mill procured by NMIS in 2020,

Lot 1
Supply and commissioning of a supercritical CO2 system for the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland. Supercritical CO2 is a fluid state of CO2 held above its critical temperature and critical pressure. At this point, the CO2 looks like a gas, but has the density of a liquid. The system will initially be in support of the existing DMG Mori 5-axis mill. Contract scope includes the supply, delivery and commissioning of the system, along with technical support to coordinate the integration with our existing 5-axis mill.
Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the Successful Tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of suppliers or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations.
