Award of Scottish Government - Interim IT Staff Services - Lead Service Designer
Notice Description
* Directorate for Agricultural and Rural Economy (ARE) is responsible for leading a transformation programme which has a focus on replacement of the Common Agricultural Policy with a bespoke Scottish Approach that better delivers our multiple goals for Scotland's land use, including playing an integral role in the delivery of Scotland's ambitious climate change commitments* The Lead Service Designer will work within the Business Design Team in ARE contributing to a high profile service transformation programme* Establishing and iterating the end-to-end service design for ARE in light of the evolving needs of our users and business* Lead on design concepts and service blueprints that help reimagine how new services can be delivered* Help define vision and outcomes for policies, services and programmes, shaping strategy and influencing long-lasting change* Lead on design workshops and design sprints with the team, senior stakeholders and users* Rapidly design and test prototypes with users* Create compelling, evidence-based propositions and solutions that draw on and balance multiple inputs, such as policy, customer insight, user research, operational performance measures, audit, organisational strategy and existing services* Interact effectively with the services of other departments to improve the experience for ARE customers and users
