Award of Scottish Government - Interim IT Staff Services - Lead User Researcher
Notice Description
* Directorate for Agricultural and Rural Economy (ARE) is responsible for leading a transformation programme which has a focus on replacement of the Common Agricultural Policy with a bespoke Scottish Approach that better delivers our multiple goals for Scotland's land use, including playing an integral role in the delivery of Scotland's ambitious climate change commitments* The Lead User Researcher will work within the Business Design Team in ARE contributing to a high profile service transformation programme* Create and plan User Research activities based on business goals, identifying user groups, creating tailored discussion guides to support the design and development of products and services* Conduct and collect outputs from a wide range of User Research activities identifying and selecting the most appropriate research methods for the user group aligned to business goals.* Lead the analysis of the research data, synthesise clear and actionable findings, including creating a rich picture of user behavior that provides insights and recommendations for the service.* Document and present User Research findings to inform policy outcomes, Service Design teams and the wider organisation to develop a deep understanding of users and their needs
