Notice Description

1 x Test Lead - based in GlasgowThis is a hands on testing role for a highly experienced test analyst, the primary focus of which will be integration and quality testing of interfaces across a range of internal and external IT applications. Reporting to the Integration Technical Platform Owner, the main activities are as follows:* Work closely with Integration Team to prepare test scenarios and data to prove build readiness introducing automation efficiencies where appropriate* Manage the defect identification, reporting and tracking and collaborating with Integration Team to provide fixes to achieve defect closure via JIRA* Engage with Programme Test Managers to understand the release plan to ensure that all integration documentation is prepared in readiness for scheduled testing / deployments* Ensure traceability of testing against test basis and testing methods are consistent with the programme test strategy and best practice* Work closely with stakeholders including external parties to provide review/approval recommendation of test scope documents* Produce relevant test plan documents and test closure reports as required* Risk identification and mitigation; issue escalationProactive participant in lessons learned and continuous improvement activities across the Integration Team
