The Parenting Support Service offers support to families who are in stress or crisis and that have at least one child under the age of five.

The aim of this procurement is to secure a support service to parents and carers who are experiencing difficulties. The service will support family cohesion by undertaking activities such as home-visiting support, family group work and social events. This will promote: - Building a family's confidence and ability to cope; and - A nurturing environment for their children.. Awarded per Section 12 of the Procurement Reform (Scotland) Act which provides for a Contracting Authority to award Health and Social Care contracts or framework agreements between 50,000 GBP and the threshold for Light Touch Regime (LTR) for services without seeking offers in relation to the proposed contract.
