Notice Description

North Ayrshire Council ("NAC") are looking to notify the market of this future contract opportunity. The procurement exercise will be carried out via Public Contract Scotland-Tender (PCS-Tender). An advert will be published on Public Contracts Scotland and the tender documents will be accessible from PCS-Tender. NAC welcomes expressions of interest from service providers, by completing the attached questionnaire and returning to laurakeane@north-ayrshire.gov.uk by close of business Friday 25th 2021. Providers will be appointed under a Framework agreement to deliver outcome-based services and Person-Centred Support to Children and Young People up to and including 18 years with a range of disabilities and needs and their families across North Ayrshire. The Provider will ensure that the Service is offered in an individualised and personal way. All types of support should be delivered in such a way that they are in line with individual Child/Young Persons needs, choices and preferences as per the Child/Young Persons Support Plan and are subject to appropriate risk assessment. The Provider will encourage the Child/Young Person to express their views in relation to the support through a means of communication appropriate to them. The Provider will involve and include Children/Young People and their parents/carers in decisions about the Service and future development, particularly in the promotion of greater choice in how Services are delivered. This includes involving advocacy representatives where appropriate. The Provider is required to deliver a range of service supports including but not limited to: intimate and personal care, comply with medication requirements, dealing with difficult situations / emergencies, contributing to reviews, transitioning into adult services.
