The University of Strathclyde has awarded a contract for the detailed design, supply, delivery and commissioning of a self-propulsion dynamometer and rudder load cell hydrodynamic testing rig. The rig will be used to conduct self-propulsion tests with a ship model using an accurate propeller dynamometer and twin rudders with load cells that can measure the force and moments acting on the rudder blades, which can be actuated, using load balances.

Options: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to request additional deliveries by the Successful Tenderer, either intended as partial replacement of suppliers or installations or as extensions of existing supplies and installations. The Contracting Authority may at it's sole discretion exercise this option.
