However, due to the Covid 19 restrictions, operatives were not allowed to carry out the required works in void properties which has resulted in a backlog of work, therefore 2 backup contractors were required to support Building Services. Building Services are conducting a Pilot Project to outsource 12 void properties to 2 contractors to work simultaneously to complete the required works within those properties. If the Pilot Project is successful, a further procurement exercise will be conducted to procure a longer term contract.",
