Notice Description
Outdoor obstacle Event June 2022 Inverclyde Leisure Trust are seeking an organisation to help deliver a mass participation 5k obstacle EVENT in June 2022 at Battery Park. Battery Park sits on the banks of the River Clyde between Greenock and Gourock, and is a popular destination for sport, play and physical activity. Site address: Battery Park, Eldon Street, Greenock, Inverclyde, PA16 7QG Scotland Site Visits recommended - please book a time in advance via: david.mccorkindale@inverclydeleisure.com or ian.dyer@inverclydeleisure.com in summary the aim of the project is to: Delivery of a 5k obstacle event with a minimum of 20 obstacles Staffing - event management, stewards, volunteers etc. (minimum of 40 staff for the event) Event safety management plan and delivery an event map & programme A pre-event marketing plan and clear communication to support Inverclyde Leisure and volunteers Encourage local people to be more active Promote community cohesion Raise the profile of the Inverclyde and physical activity Inverclyde Leisure is a registered charity, a community focused non-proft company established in 2001 for the purpose of delivering sport, leisure & health primarily in Inverclyde. Inverclyde Leisure operates community halls, parks and pitches, sports facilities, health and fitness facilities, swimming pools, ice facilities, golf course and an athletics stadium.
