Notice Description
The University of Aberdeen is constructing an experimental MRI scanner for use in clinical research. This project requires the design and manufacture of a bespoke motorised patient positioning system, outer covers (for safety and cosmetic purposes) and a bore section that can hold a whole-body radio frequency coil and various electronic equipment such as light, microphone and others. All parts must be manufactured to a standard required for future clinical certification.

Following on from Prior Information Notice, this is the Contract Notice. The University of Aberdeen is constructing an experimental MRI scanner for use in clinical research. This project requires the design and manufacture of a bespoke motorised patient positioning system, outer covers (for safety and cosmetic purposes) and a bore section that can hold a whole-body radio frequency coil and various electronic equipment such as light, microphone and others.
