Notice Description

East Lothian Council on behalf of East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership (ELHSCP) would like to invite applications from suitably experienced organisations for grant funding of 180,000 GBP over 2 years for a project to establish and operate a "Dementia Meeting Centre" in Musselburgh which will allow people with dementia and unpaid carers to live well with dementia; this project will be the first Dementia Meeting Centre in East Lothian. The objective of the grant funding is to allow for the development and operation of a Dementia Meeting Centre in Musselburgh, East Lothian, within in an existing community facility, with the aim of the resource becoming operational in April 2022. Collaboration with other key partners is an important part of this project and the successful applicant must demonstrate appropriate capabilities and expertise in providing dementia and community based services, including the ability to access other funding streams to deliver the Dementia Meeting Centre outcomes and objectives.
