Award of IMPACT ASSESSMENT - CLIMATE JUSTICE FUND
Notice Description
The Scottish Government (SG) is seeking a supplier to conduct an impact assessment (IA) of the Climate Justice Fund (CJF), which was launched in 2012 to help tackle the effects of climate change in the poorest, most vulnerable countries. An evaluation of the CJF has recently been concluded from which officials have developed a new strategic framework with clear objectives and outcomes to underpin future funding rounds and enable effective delivery of SG's COP26 commitment to treble the fund to PS36 million over four years. The IA will ensure that the new fund framework has due regard for all SG statutory responsibilities as well as making sure that it is compatible with our approach to justice, equity and achieving a Just Transition. This will be a rapid assessment undertaken over 4 weeks in March 2022.
