Notice Title

Weighbridge Waste Data Handling Software

Notice Description

The Council is seeking to enhance its waste data collection and handling process to improve resilience, improve data accuracy, and to reduce time spent manually processing data where this could be automated. The Council requires software which will: Integrate with Council-operated Avery-Weigh-Tronix weighbridges to collect weighbridge data; Allow for waste data to be inputted, e.g. via Excel file upload in a specified format. This is so that weighbridge data from our offtake providers can be used to provide a complete picture of the Council's waste flows; Store this data in an appropriate format (e.g. a database); Provide a reporting system which can be used to access information within the database and use it to generate reports. The reporting system will be required to prepare reports which are bespoke to the Council's requirements, and these requirements may change over time. Specifically, these reports will include information required for WasteDataFlow returns; and Consider the future compatibility with a national digital waste tracking system. The Council is seeking engagement and information from the market from interested parties, to read and response to the additional attached document.
