Notice Title
Award of Inward Investment Plan Measurement and Evaluation
Notice Description
The Scottish Government's Inward Investment Plan (IIP) Action 17, underpins efforts to ensure the return on investment criteria encompasses the delivery of both direct, and wider 'spillover' benefits to Scotland's economy (delivering 100,000 jobs, including 20,000 from spillover benefits, over the next decade). Historically, inward investment measures have focussed strongly on the number of projects and the number of jobs a project is forecast to create. This work will help us to better understand and measure both the direct and the indirect jobs inward investment contributes to the Scottish economy. As part of delivering on the IIP action plan, the Inward Investment team are looking to procure services to provide constructive challenge to their thinking and processes to help shape the work and maximise the spillover benefits and understand the impacts of these under a new IIP Measurement and Evaluation (M&E) framework.
