NHS Forth Valley is to appoint a Property Advisor to provide advice on all property related matters including disposals, acquisitions, planning and development, valuations, rent reviews, lease agreements and property management to ensure that the Board achieves best value in all of its property transactions. Other areas where advice could be sought include project management, building maintenance and dilapidations. Instructions will be issued on a formal basis and regular updates will be required from the Property Advisor in the form of written and verbal communication which will also include formal reports that will be presented to the Board. Where appropriate, existing instructions will be undertaken and concluded by the Boards current Property Advisor. The contract will be for 3 years with an option of one x 12 Months extension. It is anticipated, but not guaranteed that the Property Advisor will receive instructions totalling an average of 250 hours per calendar year.
