The objectives of the contract are: - To provide a flexible range of low-level preventative services, including befriending, designed to address the potential impact of social isolation on older adults; - Provide companionship to isolated and excluded older adults with a view to reducing feelings of loneliness; and - To create opportunities for older adults in Renfrewshire to enhance their quality of life, maintain existing skills and promote engagement with their community through increased social networks.
