The review should highlight good practice from Scotland and international evidence and gather the views of key partners through engagement sessions with stakeholders about how to improve existing arrangements. The aim of the work is to provide the Scottish Government with a strong overview of current scrutiny and governance of mental health services, whilst also highlighting what good scrutiny and assurance could and should look like for mental health services at a local and national level within the Scottish context.
