Gitlab repository is a fundamental tool for Social Security Scotland's ability to utilise Cloud Services to rapidly and securely deliver virtualised infrastructure. GitLab is a web-based DevOps lifecycle tool that provides a Git repository manager providing issue-tracking and continuous integration and deployment pipeline features to support cloud engineering in the development and maintenance of our infrastructure, which allows the organisation to host all of the Benefit applications and system capability required to operate the Social Security Scotland Agency and to interact with the Scottish citizens.
